Week of the Wedding Itinerary

Hello Loved Ones,

Deleon and I have prepared a tentative agenda for the week of the wedding.  Having visited the island in 2007, we have taken the liberty to plan a variety of events for our family and guests.  Please note, these are merely suggestions of things to do.  This is your vacation, we want you to relax and have an unforgettable experience in Maui!

Thursday, January 14

  1. 8:00 am – Snorkeling & Whale Watching Excursion

As simple as it seems, this was one of the most amazing things we did in Maui.  It was my first time snorkeling and I look forward to doing it again.  Will provide more details regarding price per person once the group rate is negotiated.

  1. 7:30 pm – Bachelor & Bachelorette Parties

Please join us as we split into Girls & Guys and head out to celebrate!

Friday, January 15

  1. 12:00 pm – Island Scavenger Hunt

We have planned a fun, creative and adventurous scavenger hunt for you.  Think “The Amazing Race” meets Maui!

  1. 5:00 pm – Luau / Rehearsal Dinner

In lieu of a “Rehearsal Dinner”, we are inviting all of our guest to join us for a traditional Hawaiian Luau.  (* vegetarian options will be available)

Saturday, January 16

  1. 3:30 pm – All guest arrive at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa
  2. 4:00 pm – Wedding Ceremony begins.  Group Photos, Wedding Photos & Reception Immediately following.

Sunday, January 17

  1. 10:00 am – Group Brunch at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa.  Our treat to you!

Monday, January 18

  1. 3:00 am – Sunrise @ Haleakala

According to Maui Revealed (MR), “Sunrises atop Haleakala have taken on legendary status.  They are said to be comparable to a religious experience, that they will heal your soul, rejuvenate your spirit and perhaps even fix that ingrown toenail you’ve had lately.  In short, they are said to be the best in the world.  As a result, sunrises from up here are considered must-do’s.”

Other than getting up at 3:00 am to make the two hour drive which is totally worth it, there is no charge if you just want to see the sunrise.  It is like being on another planet.  Besides, you can take a nap on the beach later in the day!

You have a choice of driving or biking back down the crater.  We have decided to bike down the crater this time.  We will provide more details regarding price per person once the group rate is negotiated.

We will update you as new events and details are identified.  Until then, we thank you for all of your support and love.

Mahalo,

Pam & Deleon
